    Grrrr.... Bitchin' Betty

I reinstalled the lovely Baytower RV7 into P3Dv4.5. Downloaded and installed Ron Attwood's beautiful repaints and made all the recommended upgrades (I think) to make it work in P3D. All the sounds are there. The baked in shadows are gone (Thanks Ron!) I downloaded and installed the Bitchin' Betty fix but I must have done something wrong as she won't shut up once triggered. I put simv4 into C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\gauges\btsRV7.

Any help would be appreciated. If nothing else, just a lead to which wav file it is so I can shut her up permanently.

Did you try clicking on the GPS screen in the 3D cockpit?

If it's any help here is an example of one of my panel files. Note bold italicized entries. It's a little convoluted as you must update all variations of the panel file in this way.

PM me and I'll send you the necessary "V4" xmls for your gauge file if you don't have them. I think they came from Bert Pieke but I'm not certain.

PS: wish I were a muster pilot. That sounds like fun. The only cattle wrangling I have done has been on the ground.

Just in case anyone was wondering, the thread at AVSim for getting the Baytower Vans RV-7/RV-8 working in P3Dv4 is here:

    https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/5...and-rv-7-rv-8/

    ..and still on-going.
