Didn't the 330 have the rounded nose? This looks like a shrunk down 360.

No, you're thinking of the Skyvan, which was the smaller precursor to the 330. The 360 was developed from the 330 by adding a fuselage plug and a revised tail.

Actually, would be tickled if JF decided to put the Skyvan in the queue.

Correct... they are one of my RW type ratings too. Although not been near one since 2002.

... and technically the Sherpa version which they have modelled is NOT a 330, being remanufactured as they were from 360 versions.

The 330 never had a tail ramp, also had different engine version - 45R/AR -, dolls eye system indicators, No autopilot usually (flight director was standard, ap cost extra), a rear baggage bay, different tyres... I could go on..

I'm temporarily resisting the temptation for several of the recent Carenado releases (really hard work!) due to the ridiculous currency deficit we are stuck with presently.
The Shorts are straining my resolve but it's a matter of principle now, as of today the A$ is only buying US$00.67+/- a few points.
Then again, adding the baby of the family (the Skyvan) to the current duo might just push me over the edge!

How different is the 330 to the 360, which I’ve already got?

Nicely modelled, just wish they had a empty cab version

Mcx can fix that but im sure on what they would say if i shared it

Wingspan same, overall length a little shorter.

Proper 330 uses 1000hp PT6 engines vs 1300hp PT6 of 360,MTOW is lower, landing weight lower, fuel capacity same. Most 330 (certainly the ones I flew) didn't have autopilot. Crosswinds could be fun.

In simulator fde, you will get same engine parameters of 360, cockpit configuration and gauges are the same, too. 330 only got some more backup gauges and other textures. But I have to say, both cockpit styles of 330 and 360 of the real ones are more or less identical.

@Matt, an empy cabine and a cargo version is on my wishlist, too.
