    This is an awesome video patrick. Thanks for the link. I have subscribed to the channel as these update preview videos are a great idea.

    Steep learning curve if you are not coming from a hardcore combat sim. I bought a new cpu as I waited for one particular module to be released, in the meantime flying a few other favorites like the Hornet and F-5, but had to re-learn many things with the A-10C from a long break. The UH-1 keeps my rotary skills sharp and many are waiting for the next big one...the Viper. Nice to have a change of flavor, so I keep P3D updated as well. The "flying" immersion in DCS is completely different using TrackIR for now and feels about right. Most of the modules have training missions/tutorials to help you along.

    This sim is legit. As I've been saying for a while now. It's no.1 for flight Dynamics. This video is incredible.

    Amazing and awesome! Although....I already suck at tanking, and this is not going to help....

    Downloaded Big Update Last Evening

    It usually doesn't take much more than a couple minutes for me to download DCS updates. Last evening it took a couple hours! Anyone having similar problems or is it just me (or is there some other explanation)? Thanks.

    P.S. I see over on DCS Forums that download is over 5 gigs due to "Repackaged texture files for Caucasu".

    P.P.S. I was just doing some target practice on the new "C" map and noticed dynamic new stuff (trains, cars). The train is a fun target for rockets off the F/A-18.

    I believe that's because they reverted back to the old (better looking) trees and vegetation. They originally removed them due to VR issues, but have since solved those, and put them back in. So the terrain should look much better again. The "New" trees looked like garbage...

    With a locked AA target: toggles between STT/TWS tracking modes (same as before)
    With the radar on SCAN and no locked AA target, it selects the default lock mode for AA targets: STT or TWS. The default lock mode can be overridden by the toggle switch but upon target unlock will go back to its default
    Guns default firing mode: TOT and PAR either in AA or CAS. Mode will reset to default when deselecting the weapon
