That looks awesome, Manfred! The Beverley is such a wonderful example of weird transport/weird British design.
I really appreciate your efforts and I'm glad it looks like you're going to "ship" it! I know it'll make a lot of folks happy to get a chance to try flying it.
Not a lot of info on these aircraft, but I found this on youtube:

Check out that crazy go-cart at 1:03! We need that modeled in too!

I actually saw what I think was the last ever flight by a Beverley when it flew in to the old Hendon aerodrome and became part of the RAF Museum. I was bunking off school at the time.
I would have done that, too! Today only some cockpit sections remain as museum pieces, and the fate of the one still complete museum exhibit at Fort Paull is uncertain:

This is the FSX version with more rivets and panels, plus specs and bumps. Next on the todo, a Middle East camo paint...
Very nice looking behemoth! Looks like it'll be fun to fly!
Charlie Awaiting the new Microsoft Flight Sim and will eventually buy a new computer. Running a Chromebook for now!

Sketching in the striking sixties style 'Disruptive Middle East' camo pattern...
Closeup in sim (P3D 4.5 for the time preview function) with some decals slapped on. 'R' should be 84 Squadron's XM109 (the scorpion emblem). First flight 1958, withdrawn from use 1967, scrapped 1970.
That's looking awesome MJ. I really like the Middle East Camo on it. Thanks for the preview.
Very nice!!
Brian
Wowza! That looks great. Well done as usual.
Some wingviews for engine startup.... We are nearing completion and release of the FSX shouldn't be too far away now. To be followed by a p3d PBR version. Still have to find a way to get the plane's shadow to properly display in p3d.
Love the view, I'm looking forward to seeing that view myself. But in the P3D version. Great work, as usual.
Great view, MJ.... Can barely wait for the finished product. Like your many others, I'm sure this will be another gem.... Thank you for sharing......tp
The VC of the Beverley will have Karol Chlebowski's incredible AILA module implemented for a combined ILS/GCA/Autopilot setup. To get a taste of it, here are the setup instructions.
