Aston Martin (today) are have a really weird business model.
Several years ago they 'discovered' a number of allocated but unbuilt chassis numbers for the competition Zagato, so they proceeded to build them as 'originals'.
Currently they have a run of the 'James Bond' DB4 model under way, 25 only, track day cars only complete with the whole Bond extras, revolving registration plates etc.
I think there was some ridiculous multi million Euro asking price for a vehicle that is not allowed on public roads.
