    Ok lads...its' one of ours..

Ok then, I found a reference on the interweb , that among things as diverse as Cierva Autogyro and Bristol Blenheim,
#1 AACU (Anti-Aircraft Co-Operation Unit) RAF also had a couple of Tutor's on strength. As far as I can ascertain, these, like the autogyro's were used for calibrating AA gun radars , rather than target towing , but I guess the stripes per AMO (Air Ministry Order) A.687/41 would come in handy to keep itchy fingers off of triggers.

Again, as far as I can find out , #1 AACU operated in detached flights , I have found references to several flights lettered from 'A' to 'Z' ; based at secondary airfields all around the country with no flight being at a particular 'base' very long.

Not decided on an upload yet just putting this out there for feedback.

Yes, why not Pete, the more variants the better. I need to check up, but I'm pretty sure I've seen Oxfords striped up the same way.
