    Alpine field and HolternauSP

I love to fly around Interlaken. This airfield is part of the JHS_Germany scenery package (Alpine Field) submitted by achim27619. He has not submitted any new scenery recently, so I am asking the Forum to get a faster answer.

Does any one have the same problem with the lake painted on part of the hills? Do I need to download a new mesh?

Part of the HoltenauSP is under water, is there an easy way to fix that?

    Thanks!

    Andrew,

both fields are very early works of mine. Done well befor Sander and Rhumba changed the cfs2 world. So its very likely that there is a mismatch.
If I still have the souce files in my archives I can move the fields, if not I have to make new ones. But both will take a couple of days because real life is rather busy these days.

BTW: SP stands for seaplane base. Some water is what a floater needs.

    Cheers
    Achim

    Andrew Wai,

The entire airfield placement for CFS2 in Europe is based on Sander's ETO setup. Using Rhumba's new files in Europe would not only require numerous airfields to be moved, it would also require a complete redo of numerous ports and other scenery I have done in Europe, as well as modifications to nearly all campaigns in the theatre. I'm simply not doing that, unfortunately.

The only unknown with using these new files is how the airfields and scenery in Norway above the limit of Sander's ETO setup are affected. (Banak and Tromso comes to mind...)

BTW...I wasn't aware that Achim did an airfield at Interlaken, Switzerland.

Thanks Achim and Rami for the quick answer.

Now I know why I can take off from Holtenau and not from HoltenauSP.

You don't have to rush, after all, this is only a hobby. Thanks for your work on all those airfields.

Combating at Interlaken is fun, you can see the lakes, snow covered mountains and CLOUDS. I love diving at the enemies hovering around the lake and chase them through the clouds, and trying to avoid the cliffs.
