    Simulation helping real-world experience.....

A young Marine at our church just finished initial flight training at nearby NAS Whiting Field, FL. He will eventually be headed to Corpus Christi to a USMC Osprey training squadron, but will be here for 10 more weeks, flying Sea Ranger helos. I had provided some sim time for him, as I have a VR headset. And I helped him by going through his "flash" cards with him, quizzing him on preflight checklists. Now, since he'll be headed to a Osprey squadron, he is really interested in flying it in P3D, and Maryadi's model is excellent for this!!! I am so glad I can help this young pilot! Thanks Maryadi! BZ NC and an excellent way to use a PC flight sim. Really good for procedures and basic instruments, although I would stay away from exact flight dynamics or numbers. I agree Maryadi's model is awesome, but he used the available open source data he had at the time.

Oh yes, am sure Maryadi's model is not 100% correct, but it sure is fun to fly! NC
