B-25 RCS Duke of Brabant Sarinah

    Hello,
Several yesars ago I had this B-25 Mitchel in my RCS-package flying. Now in Prepar3D I have the adapted package of Bluebear, working fine in V4. Is that version of the Dutch B-25 Duke of Brabant Sarinah still available, will it work in V4 and where can I find it?
    Hoping on a positive answer,
    with kind regards,
    Piet de Geus

    Hello Piet,

As far as i know, there was no Brabant Sarinah repaint
for the RCS B-25, only for the maam version, which is sadly
    not available for P3Dv4.4+ .
Unfortunately, Roy did not allow repaints for his B-25
    in the past.

    kind regards

    Ulrich ( aka Bluebear )

    Hi Ulrich,
Sorry, then I mixed it up. I never did some repainting. Are you a "skilled" repainter?
On the web there are many pictures of it, so: Is this a possibility? I think that many Dutch flightsimmers would be grateful, at least I would.
    regards,
    Piet

    Piet,

Roy Chaffin, the man who made the model doesn't allow any repaints. So it doesn't make any sense to ask for a repaint for this model, as it is simply not allowed to make them.

    Cheers,
    Huub

    Sorry, Piet
Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you again,
i have no skills with the repainting of airplanes.
That would be not the basic problem,
I'm sure we would find a talented painter.
Sadly, Roy Chaffin has not given his permission
    for new repaints until today.
I have had only his written permission to publish
the converted version of his RCS B-25.

    Ulrich,
Now already a couple of years ago I had developed a plan together with Roy to visit Gilze Rijen for making pictures of the Dutch B-25 for beeing able to make a livery. We had approval of the owner. Unfortunately Roy's health was getting worse so we could not do it. Glad to hear he is still with us.
    regards,
    Piet

Yes Piet, Roy seems to be on a good way.
Perhaps you can contact Roy ( answer will need a bit )
and ask him, if he has changed his mind concerning
    to restricted new repaints.
JanKees, e.g. is a very talented repainter, who has made
some nice repaints for the RCS B-25 in the past,
which he sadly couldn't share with us.
If we get a permission from Roy, i could imagine,
that he would like to build some new repaints
    e.g. the Brabant Sarinah repaint.

    regards
    Ulrich

    btw
i was a few weeks ago in Overloon war Museum
    and have discovered this one

Indeed, it looks as if I am allowed to publish repaints.
I did 4 in the past, two come with fsx version, but I still have two I never published:
    jk7524

    jk4712

And I can start on Sarinah. It will probably take a while since it is not an easy bird to paint, and my travel schedule is very hectic these days, so patience please...
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to

    Jan Kees,
They are nice as well, can you publish them now in order to see how they work in Prepar3D V4?

Oh wow, how i could missed this good news.
I'm really looking forward for some new paints.
I have just slightly revisited the RCS B-25J.
I have changed some texture reflection settings,
attached placeholder bumb and spec textures and have
reworked the glass a little bit .
As well, i have build a new exhaust flame effect and have fixed
    some minor bugs.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try,try again. ... or go read the manual.
