    Hey guys,

Just thought you'd enjoy this...Rami in the pub near TD Garden in Boston after about three-ish hours prior to game time...Game 1 of the Stanley Cup (Ice Hockey) finals against St. Louis. This was after about three tall beers and seven Captain and Cokes. I only bought two of the ten drinks...although I paid for several others as we spread warmth and cheer.

I managed to make it into the rink...but it took me several hours for more complex brain functions to resume.

Don't know how you find the time for sports when all that you do here should take up a lot of time. Good for you. I have no life after the wife, flight sims, dog, house, work, and such.

You look in great shape! After 2 beers I'd be praying to the "Great porcelain God". Too bad it didn't wind up Sharks vs Bruins!

    Sixstrings,

Having a strong, capable, loving partner is a huge help. Erica knows my passion for Boston Sports, it's embedded deeply in New England culture. Erica also knows my love of hockey, and of my beloved Bruins. I only attend a playoff game if my team makes it to the Stanley Cup finals because it's so expensive to go. And I only attend one game, but one of her most endearing qualities is giving me the freedom to do some of my favorite things without giving me a lot of grief because of my dedication and otherwise responsible behavior being a teacher, husband, and father.

I've been somehow able to balance it all. But I am equally determined to truly enjoy life for however long I am here.
