Does anyone know where to find a Horton 229? Thanks
Does anyone know where to find a Horton 229? Thanks
Don't think we have one here, at least the search says no... Simviation doesn't have CFS2 one as well. Dose this mean I need to drag out the 3D Ripper and liberate us the CFS3 model?

Thought there was one for CFS2 but i was wrong.Knew i had the Ho-229 for CFS3 and IL-2 '46 but thought "for sure" for CFS2. We desperately need one for CFS2. If anyone will tackle this one it would be greatly appreciated . Cheers,Scott
I have started ripping the CFS3 Ho229

I can do the model and DP. For the air the best your going to get from me is the CFS3 just made to be flyable by player. No other testing so some one else will have to make something better.

There is one for CFS2, here's a screen shot of it on my system. It'll take me a while to find it as I haven't flown the ETO (or even opened the program) in years.
I found it on my system. It's actually an FS2000 model that I believe just drops into CFS2. It was made by Steve ( RATT ) Robinson. Here's a link that I think is still good:

Does any one have a DP file for the Ho 229 as day fighter or night fighter? What weapon were they intended to use? and any bombs or rockets. What about Cockpits? any photos? so many Questions. Thanks
The Ho229 V3 prototype is still around so the cockpit layout is known. Ho229A seem to have been planned to have 4 30mm cannons and 2 1000 KG bombs. Seem likely R4M Rockets would be fitted as well.

Update.
Model now in CFS2. Interior (no gauges) and exterior (no LODs) Work has been slow as I have just about forgotten lots about gMax. Working on LODs now.
Here is a shot in Model Converter X for now.

The cockpit looks to be not up and running. A different paint scheme would be nice.
VC isn't done yet. I don't even have any jet gauges and not sure were to get some other than get them from a Me262 here at SOH. It is from CFS3 so raiding the CFS3 part of the library may be the best idea for a new texture.

Just took it for a quick test drive, everything showing up fine, gauges and weapons. Takes time for her to spool up, I like that
I imagine a lot of guys are with family on this holiday weekend here.
Think those are Kazunori Ito's that we can't convert to CFS2 as Kazunori Ito dosen't want any his/her models converted to CFS2.

We do'nt need any stuff from cfs3, as long as we have you around Allen, I started the engines (took a while)
and flow it,turned around and destroyed some off my own buildings, using the cannons and finally landed again, fantastic plane, thank you very much
