Junkers Ju88 H1 long-range maritime recon aircraft for Fs9

Hi Folks,
Just uploaded this rare beastie. This time a Junkers Ju88 H1 long-range maritime recon ac. Lots of new bits and pieces and a nice in depth 2D panel by Papi.

Used as a Atlantic shipping recon and inter-Uboat ac. Extended fuselage fitted with 3 cameras and Hoentweil radar for surveillance of convoys.

Many thanks for this most unusual aircraft.

However (if I may), I do find the 'German' font very difficult to read, and, if possible, can the panel picture gauges be identified & named, instead of being identified as gauge00, gauge01, etc?
It would be nice to look at the panel picture & identify the gauge instead of being refered to as gauge01.

The model has much smoother, cleaner lines and is a real jewel in the spot view. Any armchair Ju88 pilot would be suitably impressed, maybe even the ghosts of the real pilots too! Superb work Shessi.

yes Robin I understand your remarks and they have sense.
Concening the german fonts, allright no problem, I will use
the usual arial/ arial black fonts.
Concerning the panel docs. Seen from my side it might be
difficult to "write into the picture" the gauge names/functions.
Especially the Ju 88 aircraft and ockpits are very complex.
Panel docs and checklists (exerzierkarte) would be two different things.
I believe it would be easier to have a separeted panel doc
which explain all. and than the checklist (Exerzierkarte) avaible "in flight".
I want the procedures as close as possible to the german procedures used
at this time.
So my thinking is to print out the panel doc, or as I do it, I have them on my tablet,
and than learn them as the german pilots had to do it.
Than LEARNING flying the plane as the pilots did. using the Exerzierkarte.
Later in mission there was no time to toggle with checklists.
That is my point of view, not a law,LOL.
Let us see how we can find the right way for this topic.

Don't forget gents, the basic ac is down to K and M, who originally did the model, so it's great to start from something pretty good already...it helps! lol.

Mick, I only use Golden Wings in Fs9, and CFS2, so these fit fine. Nigel's beautiful Tutor's look good GW3, as you prob have used them, so I suppose Golden Wings covers from early 30's to Silver Wings(?), very nicely for me.

Gauges on the panel picture are numbered, so, instead of the numbers refering to gauge00, nayve it can refer to what the gauge actually is? (speed, altitude or whatever.

Robin I understood well what you meant.
As I tried to say, there are a lot of gauges together in quiet little space.
So, if I write into the picture it may become once more confusing.
As I have all the panel doc for the Ju 88 A-4 to do I will see if I can find a way to ease things for you.
On the other hand, after reflection I came to the mean that some gauges do not need to be desigend as
every one should recognize a speed- altimeter-, vsi-, manifold pressure- or rpm indicator.
So perhaps just "special" function gauges need to be indicated and their functions explained.
The panel docs take me more time than to make the panel itself.
Allright, I will see how I can do the docs better next time.

I just saw this in the spot plane view while the Ju-88 was sitting on the ground idling. As I throttled up to taxi to the runway, the props turned individually at different rates until the auto-sync feature kicked in and the props synced up to the same RPM. VERY COOL! Just my thoughts.

This one is a definite KEEPER!

Hallo friends
the feature of differential throttles has been done by an other auther sadly I do not remembr the name.I saw it the first time on the Boeing B 307 Stratoliner.
As long you have not set the tailwheel lock it is operating connected to the rudder.
When you set the tailwheel lock it is witched off.
I will use it in all my multi engines ac know as it corresponds to real operating.
