I’m thinking it’s a website failure. The reason I say this that there was a post to their Facebook page 2 hours ago pointing at a topic on their forum.

Nick posted over in the AVSIM P3D forum that this is probably due to some troubleshooting efforts for some issue. Should be temporary. Nothing 'personal'

Still down, I read on the Avsim forum their hosts have had further problems. Danged annoying as I was just about to install the Pipers in P3D. No biggy, just the updates won't function at this time.
