    Monitor Blues

    Good Morning,

I'm looking for a new monitor to replace my old one. Flying and painting have become very problematic to say the least. I have thought about a gaming monitor but wonder whether this would enhance the image and refresh rate in CFS2 more than other monitors. I'd be very interested in the views, preferences and experiences of other members.

    Cheers,
    Ravenna

    Michael,
I replaced my old one with a Samsung C27F591FDN. Love it. Recommend it anyone.

Thanks Bob. Flying with my old monitor is like looking through a heat haze- nothing is clear and everything shimmers.
I'll take a look at the Samsung today.
    Cheers,

    Michael

    Thanks guys.
Bob, I know what you mean about being kind to eyes. My younger son was given a gaming monitor for Christmas on the basis that he looks at a screen for about 5 hours a day. No matter how good the screen was I couldn't last that long!

Ravenna, I'm using a Panasonic Vizio 32 inch flat screen TV for my simpit. With the right HDMI settings it looks great.

Thanks Col_Wolf, 32 inches might just fit on my computer desk! What settings are you using?
