    Enjoying the new graphics

Just installed Maskriders Papua New Guinea scenery and positively love it.

Folks have been real busy while I've been away and CFS2 is looking terrific.

I found an upgrade for the default Essex and I'm slipping back into old habits. Just had to give it some weathering.

There is a nice Essex44 in Collin's (RIP) page: http://simviation.com//lair/cfs2shipyard.htm with great detail and lighted flight deck for your "night ops."

Fabulous resource! I'll be digging into that. Thanks for the tip.

E.A: If you liked his PNG, you'll love his Solomons, Micronesia, Palau etc. MR is currently working on an update to his Micronesia scenery too and, he says a GSL version of his Philippines is on the planned list.

Those ships on the link I posted are fantastic!

    E.A. Wicklund,

Be advised that Psullykeys also has some great stuff: http://simviation.com//lair/cfs2sully.htm

    And so does Mas: http://www.geocities.jp/mtyjr101/index.htm

Collin, Mas, and Psullykeys, along with Stuart277, provide a good balance between details and framerates. Usio's ships can be great to look at, but too detailed if you have a lot of them in the same frame.

Very detailed indeed. I use them with Pen32Win's alternate .dps ( http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...id=17&id=11461 and http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...id=17&id=14231 ). Usio's ships are used sparingly in my campaigns with excellent results. The new .dps reduce their near impenetrable flak umbrella and slightly reduce the ship's "hardness" and Pen32Win's other downloads are worth browsing.

I haven't forgetten MaxStuka's, UncleTgt's and many others' ships in that mix for the PTO.
