Nigel Richards' Avro 621 comes to P3Dv4 !!

Yessir! It's true! Nigel's amazingly gorgeous freeware Avro 621 has just been released for FS9 and FSX as port-over but already has been turned into FSX native, subsequently P3Dv4 compatible. The conversion has been impeccably done by good Sir Ulrich. You can grab your copy here : http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...=1#post1170586

No words can really describe the sheer beauty of Nigel's work of art, seeing and hearing it for yourself is the only word. 4 pictures may the tell.

THANKS A MILLION AGAIN, NIGEL AND ULRICH !!!

    Cheers,
    Jan

Can't get enough of it, naturally..

(that's also because the VC, the sound suite, and the flightmodel are works of art in itself as well. And it's all "Liefdewerk oud papier" as we say here in Holland (a Labour of love)).

    Scenery is Old Warden (Orbx).

    Cheers,

    What amazing news!

I've been following up the development of this beauty. When I saw the FSX port over I though what a pity it is that we could not run it in P3D. All that is changed now! What a joy!

Many thanks to Nigel and Ulrich for this wonderful gift!

It really is a work of art.

Great work Nigel and Ulrich and thanks very much!

A few pics from my first flight. This is a magnificent plane. I love the sounds, as well as everything else about it.

    Nigel Richardson's Awesome Avro 621

Using Ulrich's FSX native archives of Nigel's Awesome Avro, we can now have this beauty in P3Dv4:

Sweet shots Adam! I can't believe how good this plane is. I was just flying it around and thinking this is the kind of plane I could tour a country in.

I have just bought the FA50 of the Carenado
which I have been waiting for so long,
but what I'm flying now, Nigel's wonderful Avro's.

    My oh my...

This truly is a an unexpected treat seeing the AVROs in this AWESOME sim.

Many, many thanks to Ulrich for most kindly converting the models and providing P3D users Access to the AVROs sooner than expected.

I must say I'm highly inspired by the high quality rendition of the models in P3D - the lighting and self-shadowing on the aircraft is superb.

I'm always amazed at the talent out there in the FS community - and how generous people are with their time.

You just have to look at the back of the pilot's head to see how much detail has been put into this Avro. It's a joy to "fly"!

I gave her a test flight last night and was very impressed. Great quality and only issue i could see is the tail light was a bit big but that’s a common issue with FSX aircraft in P3d, the only thing I could ask for is more view points so you can see that fully functional front cockpit.

Ulrich very kindly provided this FSX aircraft.cfg entry in the FSX Forum which provides the extra views you describe, Sir.:

Is the Main Package your equivalent of Ulrich's P3D v4 conversion, or does it contain other 621 variants for FSX only?

Thank YOU, my friend - a few old black and white photos photos of Greek AVROs inspired this Project. :-)

    T43:
The Tutor is an advanced and refined cowled development of the 621 trainers. During its era it formed the mainstay of many Air force's training schools.
It forms the core of the AVRO Project.

So far I only have the six FSX portover models and 12 colourful liveries for the AVRO Tutor.

But, as I think you have said, we do live in hope...
