Orbx is moving to the Lockheed Martin xml installation model. This will come with the new Central.

This is great news. The ORBX folder is huge and so far it had to be in the P3D folder. Now it will be possible to keep ORBX scenery on a different drive.

Chief, this is the LM method of installing addons externally so as to keep the default installation intact and simplify updates.

Since I have to uninstall (aka completely scrape off)/reinstall P3D quite often I use the LM xml installation model to always have things already there.
Making the xml file for each new aircraft/scenery is easy once you've done it once and just use that as a template.
