    Middle East Project

    Ugra Media has made some info available on next map
    http://ugra-media.ru/2018/proekt-blizhnij-vostok/
    "The “Middle East” project is a unique theater of operations, which includes missions and companies of military confrontation in the Middle East from the mid-1970s to the present.
    This project allows users to use virtually the entire arsenal of military equipment and DCS aircraft and includes the reproduction of the events of one of the largest military conflicts of our time:

    • The War of the Doomsday of 1973;
    • Lebanon war of 1982;
    • The release of Syria from the terrorists in 2017.

    The project will present a map of 610 * 440 km in size, which includes almost all the states on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It will present such large cities as Israeli Haifa and Shefaran, Lebanese Beirut and Tripoli, Turkish Adana and Gaziantep, Jordanian Irbit and Jerash, and of course the cities of the Syrian Arab Republic - Damascus, Homs, Hama, Lattakia, Iglib, Aleppo, Raqka and etc. In the project you can see the real monuments of ancient architecture - the colonnades and amphitheater of Palmyra, the citadel of Allepo, the fortress of Krak de Chevalier, the mosque of Muhammad Al - Amin and others.
    More than 20 airfields will be implemented on the map, including the international airports of Damascus and Beirut, the US airbase Incirlik. And of course, the base of the Russian VKS Hmeymim and the Navy base Tartus will be presented.
    Recall that Syria is a state in the Middle East, bordering Lebanon and Israel in the southwest, with Jordan in the south, with Iraq in the east and with Turkey in the north. Washed by the Mediterranean Sea to the west. The modern statehood of Syria has a little more than 70 years, but civilization originated here as far back as the 4th millennium BC. the capital is Damascus, one of the oldest, constantly inhabited cities in the world. In addition, Damascus is also the oldest of all modern capitals in the world.

    New images of “Syria Map”…

    • This week our third-party Ugra Media announced that DCS: Syria is approaching it’s final
      stages of development. This map covers most of the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea,
      it includes several climatic zones and territories of 5 states - Syria, Israel, Lebanon,
      Turkey and Jordan.

    Since the times of Ancient Egypt, the Roman and Ottoman empires, large-scale wars were
    fought across these lands. Thousands of years ago these battles were fought with swords
    and arrows, today these areas have become the theatres of grandiose air combat simulation.

    During the Arab-Israeli confrontation, Soviet MiGs, American Phantoms and French Mirages
    fought here. And today almost the entire arsenal of DCS combat aircraft and helicopters rise
    into the sky above this territory.

    DCS Syria will bring 32 aerodromes including the international airports of Damascus, Beirut,
    Adana and Haifa.

    Dear all,

    Ugra has been listening to your concerns about lack of sea area for naval operations, and they have now greatly expanded the sea area to the west of the map. Cyprus is clearly missing in the attached image, but that will come later during the early access period. As mentioned in a previous video, we are still determining the how and when of how the addition of Cyprus (as huge undertaking) will be handled.

    Kind regards,
    Wags

    Seeing the release is so close, I jumped on it today. Had some cash-back rewards on my card, it ended up costing me $15 and some change. Can't wait to fly around that map in a couple of days.
