In your picture, it would be the little blue patch between the red at the end of the flap housing and the jagged red lines you see bleeding to the right of the patch I'm talking about.

Please do a screenshot closeup of the area in question and high-lite it. Because of the nature of this area with polys facing down, up, and left, it could be in one of 3 places.

    Hi Milton,

I've tried the three areas you show to no avail. See the silver patch in the white circle in the attached image. It's exactly the same on both sides of the model.

    Thanks, Ken.

    Ken,

What model name is this paint for, and what is the date of that Model .mdl file in the folder.

Here's what gmax shows me as to where it is mapped.

It's the 47jCC model and the date on the model is 1/13/19.

I found the problem! It was between the keyboard and the chair.

Did you know there is a difference between the top wing texture and the bottom wing texture? One's on the top and the other is on the bottom! Duh!

LOL Everyone has done this ... welcome to the club. :-)

I even noted the wrong area in post #51, used a bottom instead of a top. :-/

Thanks very much for the XP-72 and XP-47J ...
Received the FSX native textures today from Duckie, tested out and ready for upload.

I think I'll have an afternoon nap first, then try top get the package uploaded this evening.

Steve put a lot of extra work into this, much different than the FS9 version paints.
    I think you'll love it!

Give me 6 hours or so ...

Wow, that's great news. I received better references for my XP-47J texture, so maybe I'll be able to get it completed this week as well. Also, I should take a nap, but I won't and I'll fall asleep early instead.

The XP47H is now uploaded and available.

Thanks to Duckie for his extraordinary efforts to get the new FSX textures just right.

The XP47H is a Beauty Thank You Team Shupe and Duckie's Textures... Sweet

    Just a note

I had rolled out the XP72 (FSX model) for a flight and notice something with the dive/speed brakes.
they have the effect on the aircraft but they don't deploy like in the fs9 Model... did not notice it on the release date to mention then.

Thank you for these Wonderful Aircaft

    DC,

Thanks for the heads-up re: the XP72 dive brakes, an oversight on my part. I'll release a fix when I can.

You do great work. Your NACA repaint is my main XP-72 scheme.

Just took her for a ride from Eglin to the Mississippi delta....what a plane!
Was one of my favorites in FS9, thanks again to Milton and crew for bringing it to FSX/P3D.

And thanks, Duckie, for the repaint. It looks fantastic.

Hey Guys, for those of you who downloaded the XP47H I forgot to include Banana Bob's (Bob Rivera) Alternate Global Environment file. This addition will give a deeper and more dynamic reflective quality.

It can be found on AVSIM. Just search for Bob Rivera. The name of the file is "alternate_globalenvtest.zip." Just unzip and follow the instructions. If you don't want to replace your default file just drop it into the common "texture" folder in the main XP47H folder. That's it.
