Silly question: How do you install ships

    Hi,

Have installed many ships but some do not show in mission builder.

How do you install them to show in mission builder.

I am trying to get U9_LOD to work so I can scale my scenery to it.

    Robert John,

Check and make sure that each ship has a panel and sound folder, and if they are empty, try putting a dummy.txt file in them to see if that makes a difference.

If you strike out there, we can explore other options.

The U9 zip didn't come with anything in the sound or panel folders, so if you just installed the unzipped file, it would give you the problem Rami is suggesting.

Just saw this thread. U9 worked for me in MB. When I opened it up it had sound and panel folders. I didn't add it to MDLnames but I did add it to descrip.dat in the INFO folder. U9 works well as a moving object and as infrastructure.

    Hi All
The U9 had empty Panel and Sound folders.
A lot of my earlier ships had empty Panel and Sound folders, and I never had any problems when testing them in MB.
However, the U9 has no weapons, so I suspect it will only travel 'North'.
It was done in 2014 for Bloodhawk23.
I will upload V2.0 in the next few days.
    Cheers
    Stuart
