    Recrystalized sugar crystals under a microscope using cross-polar filters. Wolfe-Deberg light microscope, Nikon D5500 camera with microscope adapter, no lens or eyepiece, halogen lighting under stage. microscope iris at 1/4 closed, Manual Focus, Shutter Priority, 1/60-sec., Aperture f/13. I've been rained out and snowed in too long in south-central VA.
