    Cloud Shadow become black square

    I just messed up with the configoverride.xml and now the clouds shadow is totally mess and becoming a black square box and sometimes it's gone but it's always show up. And it's only happen in at the ground texture but not in the water/sea.
    The bad news i don't have backup for my previous configoverride setup, i try to return it to default settings but the problem still exist. All i can remember the last time is touching my configoverride but im not sure if its the cause because i did try with default settings the problem still there.
    Anyone know how to fix this? or maybe had the same experience with it?

    hi Wiekniera,

    do you have Ankors shaders installed? If so, you should disable shadows in the configoverrides.

    Still no joy sir...
    Yes i do use ankors january 2018 and it was OK before this configoverrides messed up. Can you post your configoverride sir? i just wanna make sure this's because of configoverrides or else. When i turn OFF Ankor shader in-game the problem also happen.
    Btw can you please tell me how many files inside terrains folder? (except ZX files), just wanna check this..im affraid there's file missing that i delete it when i delete all zx files inside terrains folder and i didn't turn on turn on recycle bin to save some space, so i don't know if i also delete the wrong files.

    I would go to check the values related to shadow scale and shadow size at the ConfigOverrides xml file.

    also, if you would remove the "wrong" xml and you would run the old good cfs3config.exe again, you should get a new "safe" xml source. then you could compare the content (easy when using Total Commander or such king of file managers).

    i did that too mate but it's still there the abnormal shadow that's why i need someone configoverrides so i can make sure that my configoverrides is the problem

    EDIT: sent, mine contents only the base: Ankors related dual-pass render fix, double shadow fix, user airplane highres texture tweak including airplane .mos skin resolution butchering fix. thats all.

    It seems Like I had that happen for a short time long ago. The symptom to notice is that it is not a cloud shaped shadow, but rather a rendering of the nearest terrain tile squares without proper environmental lighting (as if it's night). That would point to something related to the innermost ring distance rendering (the most detailed texture files). I wish I could remember what I did to correct this.

    Here are my current settings for configoverrides.xml
    Be careful using this directly as some of the lines in the beginning section are specific to your GPU.
