    hello chuck,
when a training mission is selected,
does a still shot show on the film screen window?
did you click on the Play button with your mouse?
the button only works by mouse click.
    when you installed cfs,
did you do a typical or custom install?
on a custom install, you can uncheck Training Mission Media.
    you could try reinstalling cfs.

please let us know how it goes.

    Hello
when I select a Training mission in the video window it says " Movie unavailable for selected mission". Using mouse button etc doesn't change anything and it was a"Typical" install. I think it has something to do with the file extension names of the movies and the standard player in XP being different to Win98.
    thanks

    Hello chuck,

Verify if you have the videos installed. To do so, find where your CFS1 is installed (a good way is to right-click on the icon and choose "Open file location") and find the file videos. Open it and open the sub-folder lessons.

You should find 17 AVI files. If not, re-install as smilo says. The AVI viewer is built-in CFS1 and should have no problem reading these files.

    Cheers!

    here's another option;
if the 17 avi lesson files are not in the cfs/video/lesson folder,
go to my computer and right click on the cfs dvd,
    from the menu, select open.
scroll down until you find the video folder and open it.
copy the lesson folder, close the cfs dvd
then paste the lesson folder into the video folder
    of your cfs install.
when asked if you want to overwrite the old lesson folder,
    click yes.
fire up the game and tell us what happened.
    sometimes the magic works.
    sometimes it doesn't.
