A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Military skins - WWII

Description: Built at Castle Bromwich September 1944, PV270 was accepted by 9 Maintenance Unit, Cosford, then to 82 Maintenance Unit at Lichfield in October. She was then transferred to RAF Mediterranean Air Force in Casablanca into 111 Squadron as JU-F and 225 Army Cooperation Squadron as WU-J. After a period of time serving in Italy as well, after the war PV270 was sold to Israel as 20-80, January 1953. Eventually she went on to the Burmese AF as UB424 in 1954 in Hmawbi AB, Rangoon and was displayed on a pole as "UB425" until 1995! In the end she was acquired by Brendon Deere in New Zealand, 2001.

She has been restored in the scheme of Alan Deere’s personal Spitfire when he was Wing Leader at Biggin Hill, and registered as ZK-SPI. PV270's first post-restoration flight as made in 2015 and continues to fly at airshows throughout New Zealand.
