    Spawn selector "access denied"

Hello all,iv`e just installed CFS3 ETO Expansion Rev 1 on a new hard drive loaded with Win 7 ultimate, the problem is selecting any spawns i get a access denied running instead of the normal, then it reverts back.
Iv`e checked my permissions and all seems ok,is there another way to overcome this annoying issue?
    Regards,
    alcanallen.

Are you saying the spawn batch file doesn't work due to access denied message and then does the next time you try?

Hi alcanallen, try changing the ".bat" extension to a ".cmd" extension. Apparently Windows prefers the latter. I am starting to change all my bat files over after someone posted about it, and ".cmd" works fine.

The spawn selector bat should be in the spawns folder. You can also do a search for ETOspawnselector.bat in your install.

    hi alcanallen,

have you set the spawnselector file to "run as administrator"? I think you can do it by right-clicking on the file and exploring "properties".

Mine run happily without turning off the user accounts.
