    Looking for an airport?

I’m sure most people know about this but for newbies like me, this is a great site run by the x-plane community for downloadable scenery. You have the option of looking for 2d or 3d airports on a worldwide map. It also shows which airports have already been integrated into the sim. A great site if you are looking for a certain airport. Also has a tutorial for those who would like to try their hand at doing your own.

WARNING - there are LOTS of airports available!

This one lists available third party sceneries for a particular airport.

Its database seems to be broken at the moment, but you might want to bookmark the page for later use.

Loaded up some airports from the that I have been to and I must say I am surprised by the quality. Boeing field (Kings County) is really great with a nice rendition of the museum of flight, military area, and delivery area. Also did Red Bluff airport witch I’ve been to many times. Airport looks great.

i have been so surprised at the realism in xp 11. Much better than Orbx in many areas.

Their database seems to be back online now, so thanks for contacting them, Ted.
