I work around one of these beautiful little birds at the Vintage Flying Museum. This will be a great addition to my virtual VFM hangar.

Didn't realize you were as close as you are. It's a bit of a drive from Sherman, especially with I35 construction in various places, but not bad really. How often are you are the Museum?

One of my favourite Cessnas. This one and a 17 and I will be extremely happy.

    Cheers

One of my favorites. It'll be a first day buy for me.

I can never have enough of these perky, quirky vintage high-wings - love it, bound to buy it!

I live right north of Meacham, and I'm usually at the museum just about every weekend. Best bet to see me around is Friday and Sunday.

Ahhh...sweet. These things still show up from time to time.....here....usually fitted out with a pair of Edo 1650's.

I think 85 hp would probably allow a max loadout of a pilot, fishing rod and tackle, plus two sandwiches and a coffee cup.

The last one I saw had been up-rated to 135 hp. Pilot was happy with it. VERY sweet little plane.....almost lost, tied up in a line of Beavers.

So...umm...I think my point may be that a variant fitted with floats would most likely expand the model's potential customer base & sales potential.....( just sayin'.....)

With or without, I know it'll be a gem.

    Icon14 Cessna 140

Am really looking forward to this one for I took my first flight in the presider to this aircraft the 120 from Walla Walla to Condon Oregon back in 1952. Scared to death when he turn to the right afraid I was going to fall out of the plain if the door was to open.

Baz I owned a 140 for 5 years and loved it every day. I flew out of Livermore Muni and used to get up before the fog rolled out in the morning. I'd get up above it and watch it roll out to sea. What a great and safe aircraft it was to fly! Thank you making this one...

It's our pleasure. These little gems deserve to be built. So refreshing in the race for more and more sophistication, it's nice to just sit down and go back to basics. And it suits our style.

I have restricted my purchases because of the weak $A but this one will be on my list.

Not just a Cessna Bazz, a VINTAGE Cessna! From the days of polished aluminum and pretty colors! I don't really go looking at Cessnas at EAA, but a 140 or 195 in the right colors will get me walking over! (Come to think of it can't figure out why I haven't gotten Alabeo's 195 yet as the GeeBee Z and Staggerwing are great. May have to remedy that whilst I wait on this!)
