    Pam Brooker "Warchild"

    Folks,

Just letting you know here that I recently learned that Pam has been taken into hospital. I don't have much detail other than it's something to do with her aorta, so quite likely a serious condition. I'll update as soon as I know more. My building of the Millennium Falcon wasn't just a test project - Pam's a Star Wars nut and as she's been so helpful to me in building the FDEs for my Black Widow and the Reporter I decided that it would be cool to build the Falcon for her.

Keep your fingers crossed folks that she makes a full recovery and gets to see the Falcon finished...

Thanks for the update Dean. Pam has been an integral part of the community for many years and her knowledge and passion for this hobby have been a driving force in many projects. I hope for her a positive outcome and speedy recovery.

Good luck, Pam! Best wishes. Aorta? Sounds like an aneurysm. I had one operated on 2 years ago. Until then, I was literally a walking dead person.

Please add me too. She helped me and FlyAndy out with the FDE for his Junkers D.I. From WWI to Star Wars, Pam can do it all.

Love you guys tons. Thank you for thinking of me and beig there. It seems my Aorta is completely blocked below my belly button and theres no circulation to the leg at all.. They are going to build a replacement artery for me tomorrow morning, so that i dont lose my legs. The doc says with as bad as my lungs are and my old heart, there is some risk, I admit, i'm a bit frightened. I'll be taking my thoughts of all of you with me in the morning. Wish me luck. I'll post once i'm out of the ICU.
    Love ya

While I don't actually know Pam, I have read a multitude of her posts here. She has indirectly helped me many times. (And many others, I am sure) I too will pray for a speedy recovery for her.
