Hi Ravenna,
Should be able to make a custom BGL.
What AF Gun are you using?
Regards,
B24Guy
Hi Ravenna,
Is something like this what you are wanting?
Regards,
B24Guy
Thanks B24Guy.
That's exactly what I had in mind. Forgive my ignorance, but is this able to be placed on objects of differing heights?
Cheers,
Ravenna
Hi Ravenna,
I will send you the AF_ZMOLE_GUN. It is fixed to the current height.
I just scasm'ed code to create a new bgl file with the correct height.
Regards,
B24Guy
Thanks B24Guy,
That really is a big help!

Ravenna
Just taking inventory for a .lay file and had a look at some photographs from the Bundesarchive and the Imperial War Museum. Does anyone know of a small diesel locomotive which can be used in CFS2? Flat bed rolling stock would be also be useful, but I'm not wanting to put the cart before the proverbial horse.
Thanks,
Ravenna
A long shot here: BUT something in my old memory is saying something about the Malta Scenery ??
Like I said...Not really sure about that..

Thanks NoDice. I'll take a look there.
New version with tracks to the mole.

Thanks Allen. That was fast work!!
Allen,
I'm getting white textures for the Mole and the causeway. I've deleted the old filelist in the inf scenery folder. Any ideas?
Ravenna,
I don't have any problem. You could try and put the textures in the main texture folder.
Regards,
B24Guy
Not seeing any. But the mole should NOT be put into the stock inf folder as the mole is using a modded inf_wharfs.bmp.

I know what it prob is. Win 8 or 10 no longer use the 8.3 filename rule for textures. Try below.

This is what I'm seeing......oops, didn't see your post Allen. I'll do that now. Thanks.
Looking good. Thanks Allen!
My last question on this: With the changed file name in the texture folder, can the files now go into the stock scenedb\inf folders?
Thanks for the input B24Guy. I did try the main texture folder first, followed by running the bmp files through DXTbmp. After that I sent up a distress flare.
Yes.
I did the name change so the mole can be put into the stock inf folder.

I've come across a photo of the first submarine shelter built on the Zeebrugge mole.By early 1918 there were two shelters. Having only seen the shelter from above (in a plan) before I assumed that it was a basic cantilever concrete roof. This pic shows it to be taller than I thought it would be.
Would anyone be interested in making this to a height that fits Allen's mole? A simple structure without all the zigzag bracing would do the job.
Thanks,
Ravenna
Hi guys,
I've downloaded the file "Z-mole with fix" and tried to install it in all my 4 CFS2's. It never shows, whatever I tried. So is that because of Win7, which I use? Or are there other things I'm doing wrong? Please give me some installation instructions, for the scenery looks great and I would love to fly from it.
Regards, hertzie.
Hi Hertzie,
Place the BGL file in your CFS2/SceneryDB/inf/scenery Folder. Delete the filelist.dat file. "found in same folder."
Place the textures in the CFS2/SceneryDB/inf/texture Folder.
You will have to use mission builder to place the z-mole.
It should show up. I am using win7 with no issues.
Regards,
B24Guy
Thanks B24Guy,
But what does this mean: "You will have to use mission builder to place the z-mole."
Does it mean that I cannot use the scenery in free flight?
Cheers, hertzie
Hi Hertzie,
Correct. You will have to make a Mission and place the z-mole in it.

B24Guy
