    Track IR

Just curious, as I may finally get one. How many of you use this and do you feel it is mandatory for a fuller immersive experience?

I have been using one for years. Seriously it's a must for any flight sim.

Absolutely, yes, a must, mandatory.....did I say yes?

BTW...I've had mine for six years and haven't broken it yet. I think it's a record or something. Word of caution, it is fragile so exercise caution when you wear it. Mine is permanently attached to my head phones and I treat it very kindly. Never had any problems...at all.

I have had TrackIR for years and it is very good. Another one to consider is Trackhat which is now offered as WiFi or wired and I use this over TrackIR these days. https://trackhat.org/

I stopped using TrackIR because the stand on the receiver is so flimsy and broke off and Velcro is not a great substitute

Either choice is fine and you will not be disappointed.

Or you can make an alternative yourself for virtually no money by using opentrack and a cardboard aruco marker.

    But that`s the ghetto version.

I bought Track Hat, but can't seem to install it. What version of Windows do you use?

I use win 10 64 bit. No issues at all. Have you followed all the instructions off their website or there are several on YT. They also have their own forum for issues. Haven't used it in a long while so I hope they are still just as keen in support as when I bought from them.
