Lightbulb NASCAR and the #78 Team & Dover

The shutdown of the #78 team for 2019 combined with the empty seats at Dover speak volumes.

Never fear NASCAR has the answer, more downforce and less throttle response. Bunch em up and wreck em, that will up the attendance!

    Hey All,

Yup A higher downforce package will certainly be better than high HP low downforce who can drive a skate best fest we have now.

And IIRC Jimmie Johnson did real good in downforce packages - we need fo Jimmie to get some more titles.

And congrats to Chase - had a good car at the end.

Fans continue to leave the sport. I, too, noticed a huge number of empty seats in addition to the seating areas covered with ads. I think the "chase" or "playoff" or whatever NASCAR wishes to call the current championship format has backfired. Jimmie Johnson still has a huge fan base and with him eliminated from the championship, I suspect many of his fans will not be buying those race tickets.

You can't teach a pig to sing, it annoys the pig and wastes your time.
NASCAR and that pig have a lot in common.
