Shortly after the Farnborough Airshow, I read a post either here or at AVSIM (I can't remember which) in which what appears to be a traditional loop was performed twice. There was some friendly back and forth debating whether it was truly a loop or something that only looked like a loop because of the camera's angle and extreme zoom.
I mean, everyone knows a C130J "Super Hercules" can't
do a loop, right?
Well, this morning I found the definitive answer to the question directly from the aircraft's pilot!

Turns out it was neither of the above. It was a 'corkscrew'...
