On www.thresholdx.net are details of xvision, replacement textures for xplane 11. According to the authors, it was to be payware but the next update to 11.30 will change textures so they decided to release it as freeware. Check it out

The problem is that when you update to 11.3 this tool will be rendered useless but it is beautiful!
