Martin Mars - water drop effect

I have the Virtavia Martin Mars water bomber and am wondering if anyone has setup a working
gauge for a water drop effect..? I have the effects configured in the aircraft.cfg but am hoping
there a working gauge that could be used from the panel.

    Thanks...

Milton's gauge for the S2F would probably work. Just remember, if you're going for accuracy the Philippine Mars should have the effects come out the sides, the Hawaii Mars, out the bottom. (Oh, BTW take a gander at what I'm standing on in my avatar!!)

    no luck

The S2A has the retardant controls hard coded into the model so no gauge is available.

The Canadair CL-215 and CL-415 by Massimo Taccoli ,has a
water drop control gauge on board.

    Thank for the info.
I've tried the water drop gauge on the CL415 but it looks to be coded so it depends on the
drop doors in the model. The functionality is only part there.

I finally got the gauge to work in its entirety.
I needed to define a water rudder contact point and all is well.

That spray pattern looks fantastic! What effect did you use?

I borrowed from the CL415 and FSX.
It still needs fine tuning. You say the Hawaii dropped from the bottom while the Phillipine
from the sides..? Do you know of a video showing this..?

    Great, you got it working.
    Thanks for the hint.
I will give it a go later.

I had an older version where the water rudder and tail-hook were not defined in the aircraft.cfg and added both.
The newer V1.1 apparently has both.
