What would be nice would be a model of the Lancaster B Mk II - with the Bristol Hercules power eggs.

Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Alain de Cadenet, a bit of bad language. But Bomber's shot just reminds me of it

    Hi John,

I take it Sierra Sue II didn't have the added fuselage tank, because it doesn't have the "+" sign on the fuselage?

Nice pics. Also, on a side note, since PBR has been introduced to P3D will the P-39 be getting it, or is too far along in development now to add it in?

I would ask for PBR enabled updates of your P-51s, but I think you should just do that in a P-51, P-51A, and A-36 add on. We need an Allison powered P-51 from you. Although, given the time sink and probably limited sales I can see where that wouldn't be a prime candidate, other than if you really wanted to do it kind of model. OK, John you've convinced me, just some PBR updates for your current P-51s as a paying add-on, not free, would be cool. PBR is so great for weathering you could call it the "War Weary Mustangs," Pack. Have a couple from the end of WW2, some from the Korean era, and maybe a couple of postwar weathered versions. I'm sold! But not until the B-25 is done.

Regarding the missing cross/fuselage fuel tank on "Sierra Sue II" - it did have the fuselage fuel tank (all production P-51D's did) and cross marking, but when the female bust was painted on the side of the fuselage, the data block and cross were removed.

Regarding "PBR", it's the plan going forward for all future releases (PBR workflow for FSX and P3D and PBR materials for P3D). With the B-25J, as to the textures, I'm still in the bucking rivets stage, adding screws, etc. (each rivet, spot weld, screw, and fastener individually placed directly to the blueprints, accurate to production block). A P-51A/A-36A/Mustang Mk.1/F-6A series has indeed been in the plans - I had started on it at one point, but I have a lot more to go on now, including the ordinates (like I modeled the B-25J to - accurate at all points to a thousandth of an inch), so I would be inclined to begin again with a clean slate. This would then lead well into developing a new line of P-51B's/C's as well.
