The B26 project is another install straight into P3D4.1.
    Works better than I expected.
Runs around 60FPS in this fairly bland setting but seems to hold respectable rates over more dense environments.
Kudos to Milton and the team!

In a way, Carl, you can thank yours truly for that.. ;-)

You might remember that around the time before the RA iteration a few Spitfires were available but non of 'em of full blown all singing and dancing stature. As Rob (Young) and i were colleagues in the Maam-Sim residence and i have always been a Spitfire fan (i'd almost say, in aviation hobby circles, who's not... ) i often thought about the idea of RealAir doing a Spitfire. So one day, when i thought the time was right and just for the heck of it, i told Rob about my idea. Initially Rob bounced the idea off the table. RealAir being a strictly GA aircraft developer he saw no point in producing a militairy aircraft, not even a vintage and famous one like the Spitfire. Of course that was what i expected but i still wanted to give it a try. So now i did and it failed. Bummer.

Low and Behold, a few days later Rob emailed me that he talked my idea of a RA Spitfire over with Sean anyway and they came to the conclusion that it was not such a bad idea afterall. The rest is history.

    cheers,

A Foggy Day in London Town...

Overcast at 1500 and passing rain showers reminded me to say, "Goodbye Mickey Mouse!" Not a P-51 but a Merlin/Griffon nonetheless. Splendid for raising the pulse for an hour all these years later.

Never did I concentrate more on two little triangles of concrete

    Jan-

Never in the field of flight simulation, have so many, owed so much, to so few! For this, the VVC and so much more, I remain obliged.

Now finally got my carriers into P3Dv4. Everything seems to work fine, except for the ships wakes.
Here some dusk impressions on the USS Eisenhower... Even the Flight Deck Crew seem to enjoy the few moments off

    Best regards, Manfred.

Very nice... if I squint just right, I can pretend those are F-14s and hear “Highway to the Danger Zone” playing. Great lighting!

Another cross over that works well, the rather elderly JF Spitfire Mk.V.

JF/AH Otter, sadly lacking in repaints.
