    Is it just me......

.....or does the bird in post #148 have some outstanding tail-feathers?

    A real beauty.

That’s Thomas’ project, who posted the pics (callsign TiAr), along with repaints from some great repainters, including Rui Cristina (callsign Manecas).

There’s already an earlier / advanced beta version here in the soh library. It’s really nice, crazy to think it’s only getting better. Fabulous work on Thomas et al’s part.

Outstanding as always Jankees! Any ideas about you can get rid of the blue tinted canopy? It afflicts many models in P3Dv4, at least on my rig. It disappears in PBR - one of its few genuine advantages. IMHO only of course.....!!

You need to turn off dynamic reflections in the lighting settings

Its a hang up with non native P3D models

Thanks Matt. A bit of experimentation answered my own question. P3Dv4 handles transparency differently to FSX; the model requires different material settings for transparency textures, whether as a P3D model or FSX... Not perfect but not entirely blue either.

Aerosoft H-60 at the Royal London Hospital Helipad. Scenery by Charity Sceneries. Inexpensive, but awesome! All funds generated from sales and donations (minus transfer costs) are passed on to a designated charity in the location of the scenery. NC
