How'd you get that working in v4 may I ask. I'm dying to get mine working in v4 and have been watching for an update that never seems to come.

A lovely collection of fabric & string birds, wombat !

Is this the Vertico Spad and is the S.E.5 from JF ? Both are not advertised as P3Dv4 compatible but they still are, right ?....

    Thanks!

    cheers,

Yes Jan, I just transferred them straight over from FSX, as I did with the JF Pups and Classic Wings Camel.
The only one that is not quite right is the Nieuport, I might need a search for the gauges.
    And you're welcome.

    Thanks, Wombat, i'll get 'em!

Pity about the Nieuport gauges, yes. For now i use it as 'RC model'. This type of WWI aeroplanes do very nicely as such.

Just installed Old Rhinebeck, hope to get some typical AI traffic running, possibly..

    More struts and (partial) fabric.
Pointed the installer at P3D4.1 and no problems at all.
Next up is the FCS Fury.
Shame there are no repaints for that beauty.

because fcs never released paintkits and the repainting from the flatten image is or can be near pointless

but i hear you i like their Hurricane. Lancaster and Wellington

with what ive seen thats out there, nothing gives me any confidence in other models

Matt, FCS produced a paint kit for the Lancaster. Have it in my repainting folder.

    Cheers

The FCS Fury is a straight out point and install.
No drama about repaints Matt, considering their age they stand up pretty well and were never meant for anything other than FS9 and FSX for starters.
Wishful thinking on my part, although do I have repaints for the Tempest and Lanc which are decent quality.

    Resistance is futile Roger.
Testing the A20 reveals a problematic glitch in the glazing, but I (just me, myself) can live with that until a solution turns up.

Not so sure if that blue glass is a model problem. Having the P3Dv4 dynamic reflections enabled is notorious for messing up glass/bare metal colours, it adds an ugly green/blue hue.
You can move the dynamic reflections slider to the "off" position, it is under Options > Graphics > Lighting. A secondary bonus is it will make the sim less demanding on the GPU as well.

No Pat that was created by a member who posted in the fsx forums, afer he apint George and was [bombard with requests so he posted his own paintkit for people to make their own

Old alphasim Dan was the guy behind FCS and I have spoken to many times regarding the lack of paint kits

Thanks for the suggestion, I can certainly give it a tweak and report back.

For visceral flying, with a barely tamed Merlin... it's still hard to beat Rob & Sean's creation. I still tremble on final... all these years later... ta RA!

It is so hard to believe this beauty was designed for FS2004 and then moved up to FSX. She still dances delightfully on the controls, growls bestially with boost and allows me to melt the day away by flinging my eager craft through the footless halls of air, and allows me to reach out and touch the face of God.

BZ RealAir- you still are the bees knees, decades later

    Best- C

PS- Many thanks to Nick Cooper for writing that she works in P3D- I remain obliged mate.
