X-Plane has really come into its own now. It's easy to use, easy to setup, and looks fantastic! I'll be glad when ATC gets added..

Been using X-plane 11 and Aerofly FS2 a lot more lately... both brilliant in there own ways. The only thing that gives FSX a look in these day Is the fact that a lot of the planes I like to fly are only available to me in my FSX Hangar... but the number of quality freeware and payware aircraft in my x plane hangar is growing...

    Aerworx conversion of MJahn DC-3

    Virtavia C-17

Me109G2... superb bit of payware… very difficult to get of the ground safely

XTrident Tornado… equal of anything i've used in FSX

The out of the box stuff is excellent too...

    Cessna 172

    King Air

Taildraggers are nigh impossible to handle on the ground in 11.21, I think in good part due to a flight dynamics bug and lack of propwash simulation.

First night flight. I'd have to jump through so many hoops to get remotely near this lighting fidelity in FSX.

    (Best landing so far.)

    Rafale C... (Freeware)

    Default 747

    Sopwith Snipe (Payware)

    Ouch... misjudged that

    Khamsim B-17 (Donationware)

    Fokker F27 (Freeware)

    Virtavia Seaking (Payware)

That is great looking pics guys. Bjoern that has to be a bug in 11. because the taildraggers are very realistic in X-Plane 10 when it comes to ground handling...

The PBY is quite something, although the start sequence tends to be a bit hit & miss.

I'm stuck with XP10 because of my ancient system but the QX 9770 and my old GTX 285 still makes XP10 look great with the freeware HD scenery. XP10 is harder to set up but very rewarding...

Where is that sweet landscape from?
    Could it be Norway?
