SSW vACMI and SkunkNet wink at TacPack

The development of vACMI and SkunkNet proceeds with regularity and satisfaction, the multiplayer SkunkNet proves to be smooth and precise.
The next step will be to integrate it with vACMI in order to obtain an integrated multiplayer environment for simulated combat operations.
To facilitate those using TacPack and do not have a vACMI-enabled aircraft available, we are also implementing a vACMI interface with TacPack weapons in order they can be used also in vACMI, all will be transparent to user.
In short a TacPack aircraft will be able to operate with SkunkNet and vACMI using TacPack weapons interacting with vACMI aircraft in an integrated environment.
It will be possible for a TacPack aircraft to use his AAM against a vACmi aircraft causing it to be damaged in a multiplayer environment as already happens for vACMI airplanes, obviously the same thing is possible for vACMI aircraft against TacPack aircraft.
Similarly TacPack air-ground weapons will be handled as if they were vACMI weapons, ground target objects if hit by a TacPack weapons will be destroyed in the same way as vACMI does, this applies also to SAM and AAA sites.
When they will be finished SkunkNet together with vACMI will form an integrated environment for simulated combat operations in a virtual Combat Zone where operations can be observed in real time with a web browser.
Both vACMI and SkunkNet are freeware software distributed under GPL license 3 and later,
The precondition is that all aircarft operating with SkunkNet must have vACMI installed and operating, there are no interferences between vACMI and TacPack.
    Stay tuned

    Excellent news indeed
Three great things in life are a good landing, a good orgasm and a good bowel movement. The night carrier landing is one of the few opportunities in life where you get to experience all three at the same time
