    Description: Tempest Mk.VI, originally a FS9 AC by David Hanvey and Paul Barry.

    "Le Grand Charles", pilot Pierre Clostermann, 3 Sqn RAF, march 1945.

    New widescreen panel.

    Sorry to be pedantic, but, Tempest V, surely. The Tempest VI was mid 1945 with wing root oil coolers like a Tempest II and a Sabre V, and didn't make wartime service.

    You can see the air intakes on wing roots on the screenshots, which definitly show these are not Mk.Vs.

    Mk.VI had a Sabre V engine, more powerful than the Sabre II of the Mk.V variant, but still the same nose shape. Mk.II had a Centaurus radial engine and therefore a totally different nose shape.
