    Plans for Milton's fsx lodestar?

    As good as the fs9 model has been, it will be a treat to see her for fsx and P3D4.
    Still my number-one ride since she came out.

    Thanks Milton and team, for keeping the radials hot :- )
    Anything I can do, drop a PM.

    best,

    Hi Brady, :-)

    Thanks, Duckie and I have just completed the final bits for the Harpoon and will be preparing that for release this weekend.

    The Ventura and Lodestar packages are next.

    Did the Lodestar ever get converted to FSX native? Missing flying her in P3dv4. Have the Ventura and Harpoon working well there.
    Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

    Expat,

    Not yet.

    It will be the next project conversion.

    We are trying to wrap up the X-3 Stiletto now.

    Once that is out, I'll get started on the Lodestar.

    Milton, does that include the Howard ?

    The Howard has been FSX native for a long time now, courtesy of FSNorthwest.
    It should be available in the library here.

    And so it is ! Thanks.

    That question you will have to answer for yourself.

    It should - only XML gauge, no .gau in the panel folder...

    Indeed but unfortunately the hi res "default" Howard paint (N500HP) by TuFun only works on the FS9 model so a no go in P3Dv4.
    Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

    I am running the Howard that was made for FSX with no problem in P3dv4. I did not get it off FS Northwest.

    Well, I am not sure where I sourced it but the model is native and works perfectly in both FSX and P3Dv4.

    Only problem is TuFun's NP500HK hi resolution repaint has all white rudders - the painted textures will only show on the FS9 model.

    That is correct; I modified the FS9 Howard 500 rudders for TF's paints.

    The package I have has:
    1) The two modified FS9 models ( H-500C and H-500P ) and;
    2) the original M. Allen Richards FSX native model.vc, and;
    3) Ed Wells' hi-res panel textures mods

    The package does not contain the original texture "N500HP" but it will work with the contained FSX native model, model.vc.
    Just add the "texture" folder and add the fltsim section to support it pointing to the model.vc.
