Some screenshots from a flight around Old Warden in the Bristol Fighter.

Anytime I take a WWI aircraft up from Old Warden, a visit to the old airship hangars at Cardington is a must.

Is that the Bristol from FCS?

    Great screenshots!

Thank you Rob! It's the fantastic freeware by Robert Bruce - one of the very first addon aircraft ever made specifically for FSX, and it still looks superb today. It is available in four parts at Flightsim.com

    f2bx1pt1.zip, f2bx1pt2.zip, f2bx1pt3.zip and f2bx1pt4.zip

I use the, accurate to the aircraft, superb Rolls-Royce Falcon sounds by Gary Jones, available at Avsim, filename: rr_falcon_sounds.zip

By last count, there are at least 5-6 that are flying in the world today (both originals and reproductions) - one at Old Warden, one in France (Hisso-powered), a couple in Australia and a couple in New Zealand.

John, did a search on Avsim for the sound file name you gave and nothing was found. Looks like it's no longer available.

Correction: the file is there, but this time I did a search for Gary Jones and found it that way. Why it didn't locate it by the file name I have no idea.
