Not just US, seems to cover most of the worlds Navies, at least in regards to ships. Only notable absence I've found so far on the carrier front is that there don't seem to be any entries for Australia.

They do have a lot of cool data, unfortunately they have very little pre-1950's data, except for ships built before that were used long after.

Another website that's been around for many years is:

    http://hazegray.org/

This site does have a lot of info on past naval ships and organization, in addition to current info.

there are several current classes of ships that arent included for Australia, and its missing many other decommissioned classes as well, the kiwis are also poorly represented

Unfortunately Matt, a goodly many people on the upper side don't realize that down under, Oz and NZ have anything other than 'roos and hobbits.

I have been looking for HMNZS and HMAS ships for AI with little luck.

Another I’ll add although pics are Japan based but it’s updated regularly. Info covers carriers and air wings plus those Marines dudes.

Seaforces.org had exactly the intel I was looking for! Good find!

It's funny how I often downloaded pictures from that site directly from google, but never browsed the page itself...
