The urge struck me the other day to re-start messing around with CFS2. I found a campaign that covers the Finn-Soviet Continuation War in 1940-41.

One of the required files is a scenery file called SC_FinninshSea_v1.zip.

I can't seem to find it anywhere on the 'net. Anybody got a copy to share?

BTW: I tried the Wayback Machine but came up empty handed.

    Dcb337,

    Here you go: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...tid=45&id=5880

Be aware, with the new coastlines and watermasks, several of the bases are now waterlogged.

I have copies of these airbases with the non-destroyable, static objects removed, (and the bases in some cases moved) but never got around to making them into GSL, nor did I ever get around to making Leningrad.

I don't think, unfortunately, that I'll pick it up again in the near future.

There are actually three campaigns: Winter War (1939-1940), Continuation War, (1941-1944) and a "Finnish Aces" campaign that covers the entire period from 1939-1944.

The Finland Wars can't open the zip-file, must be something wrong with it, as being a Scandinavian, I have special interest in the Finland Wars despite Finland being kind of Allied with Nazi-Germany. But, the Fins had two options to chose from; between the plague or cholera.

    Roxanne,

I use WinRaR, so I don’t know what the issue is.

    Gents,

Just be aware these are very old, and built largely before Rhumba's new coastlines and landclass became commonly used. While most of the aircraft are decent, I don't want to look at them with other projects far in front of it in the hopper. I'm sure there are an infinite number of things that would make me shudder.

The OstFront, and especially Finland, was where I largely cut my teeth in Mission Builder.

These EFTO airfields (and Ajax' as well) work fairly well with Rhumba's 2002 CFS2 European Water (C2EURWater.zip).

I always thought Rhumba's newest coastlines and landclass were useless for EFTO operations since the landscape there is mostly flat.

Yep. There are some issues with view windows. Don't install in the "Program Folders".
I use C:\Combat FS\Combat Flight Simulator 2 and things work fine.
The only problem I have is that I can not minimize from CFS2 I have to use the window key on my keyboard in order to resume play.

    Hope this helps,
    B24Guy

The campaign is very old,BUT it is one of the best ever made despite the age,I LOVE it and I am enjoying my self killing soviet bombers. Your new campaign will probably be so big that my computer will crash completely, but waiting for it , keep on your great work.
