Messerschmitt Bf109G-6 Erla Haube canopy updates.zip

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - German

Description: Messerschmitt Bf109G-6 Erla Haube canopy Credits

    Paul Rebuffat - Original models.

Kurt Schwabauer 'Captain Kurt' - Model textures, 2D panels, aircraft.cfg, air files, and .dp development.

Paul Straney 'pstrany' - Bombs and rocket models, prop textures and .dp development.

Wolfi and Shessi - Pilot models.

Paul Rebuffat gave permission to Paul Straney to use his models for further model development. That project has been underway for some time but has been put on hold currently due to some real life issues Paul is working through. In the meantime we developed a number of skins, flight files, panels and weapons which are compatible with the original Bf109 model series.

While working on the project I played around with the alpha channels in the texture files and discovered I could somewhat correct the profiles of the different 109 mark's rudders to a more accurate outline, and that I could load the pilots from our previous Team Daedalus Fw190 project into the 109 cockpits.

Therefore while we are on hold for the new models, I can update the original models to a degree that makes it worthwhile for them to be made available - at least as place holders until the new Messerschmitt models can be finished.

    Great job once again!

Will you update the F-2/F-4/F-2 Trop/F-4 Trop, as well as the G-6AS/G-10/G-10AS/G-14AS variants ?

Great work. It must have taken you ages. Many thanks Captain; light years ahead of generic 109 panels.

    CK......

...I may be showing ignorance here, but one of the panel updates is for the "CFS2 Bf109F-2 and F-4". Where is the plane itself? Could you point this poor lost soul in some direction that I might endeavor to obtain such?

  15. #115
hi, can only dwld the k-4, the rest say page not working. Any fix/

  16. #116
Thanks all for the positive comments.

    Naismith and dmaloof,

I checked the posts in the Library and they all download fine for me so I don't know what is happening. Maybe try downloading again and if it does not work again we can PM Rami to see if he can have it worked on?

    Fibber,

The Bf109F updates are still a work in progress. Hang in there, they are coming.
    Cheers,

    Captain Kurt

Yep, tested capun's information and he is correct. If you are using Chrome, you get errors on 3 of the panels but Firefox has no problems.

    Captain Kurt,

The Bf-109 K panel just had a space, but no commas in the download name. The other three panels had commas in the download name. To be safe. it is easier to use underscores so it compatible with all browsers.

Wow, shades of 1999 MS DOS file naming restrictions. I'll watch that in the future now that I know the issue. I went in to update the files but see you beat me to it Andrew, Thanks.
