Never flown a real Heli, but have flown in FSX. Never found that very easy depending on the model. The Aerofly R22 has two modes to fly the Helicopter. The easy version is quite straightforward. Very stable and good if you want to enjoy the view. The Profi version has (I've read) been developed to be very realistic with consultation with experts and is very hard... I use it most of the time but its not relaxing because it takes constant work to fly the thing as i'm sure the real thing does. Profi mode is harder than FSX it seems to me. I think you'd master either ok given practice... my two cents.

Matt and Jan, I had use of a Rift VR headset over the holiday season, and it was a blast mastering the R22 Pro version. I rate it one of the best flightsimming experiences in 20 years.
And because you have situational awareness, it's actually easier to fly in VR.
I so hope the promised high-res VR sets are released soon...
