Annnnnd we have a crash. Small ridge jumped up out of the clouds, and a sudden wind shift dumped my airspeed, and they bit me. Hard.
The baton is free at ZUUU,
    Duenna to follow momentarily
    Pat☺

My face is VERY red, and my wings and fuselage are VERY green.

    Life happens, unfortunately.
Just a note: your "baton Time" shows as 20:42:32 which indicates it was running for quite a while when not flying. Have to remember that when a flight is done, to make sure you trun off the "Arm" and "Baton Carrier" buttons and Reset the Duenna or it confuses the server.

BTW, I just flew the same leg in the Posky B747SP to see if I could find the cause of my previous self-destructs. Good news, it ran fine with same bits of software running. Bad news, the big bird was only 2 minutes faster than the Tigercat over this distance.
A replica baton is now resting at VYPT

I have the Baton VYPT-VEBD in the FS9 default B744.
I just hope the plane doesn't do THIS... or the computer THIS...
    Fair skies and following winds,

    Baton is free at VEBD.
Suggest VILK-VIJP-OPKC routing. All three fairly straight inbound ILS shots. Let's ease into this. There's plenty of airports in Africa where it's nothing but the plane, the runway, and your hand-eye coordination. Stack the odds in your favor whenever you can.
Plus, I couldn't resist going with a regionally appropriate livery!

It was a bit of a challenge getting it into the air. Too long since I have flown a tube but we are moving along very well.

GPS says 28 minutes but it will be longer than that.

Hmm, PC issues, so I'll bail out and leave this leg to Pat.

Rough landing indeed. No wind, just thick fog. I am sure the airport is below minimums. I had to go around once, but I finally saw it at about 100' AGL. Made it, but not pretty

    Good luck all!

The landing must have been rough. You are required to go to the "quiet room" for concussion protocol testing.
