Thread: RTWR 2018 Practice 3

OK, I'll Pay more attention in the next flight to Duenna/post order.
I have the worst habit of hitting the power, and posting right after I pull up the gear. I will be more careful about posting first, rolling second in the future.
No trouble about the baton. I was setting the plane up, and it took me a hair longer than I anticipated. JUST long enough to miss out
During the actual race, I will usually give myself a 1/2 hour lead time to get all set and ready to grab the baton and go as fast as possible. A huge help for me is having the leg defined before I have to grab-n-go. Finding a proper airport for landing at takes me forever...

I really hate to mention this, but I didn't post a duenna last night so it wasn't a legit flight. If this had been the race we'de be in serious trouble.

Yes, I spotted that, but I thought I'd carry on for now. We can go back and fill that gap in later...

Baton is back at FWLI. Got too low on approach, building in the way.
I'm kicking myself for not doing a practice approach in daylight!

I did a few practice approaches in daylight, and NOW I see that the area is infested with buildings!
    Time to redeem myself!

Better go back and fill in this gap, I have the baton HCMS to HAKL.

Glad it's daylight in Africa now. This is a hop from a small patch of sand to another small patch of sand, between two countries consisting mainly of sand.

I'll take the 737s bigger sister , stock 747-400, FSRealWX Pro.

Baton was moved to HAKL (but remember that the baton has already progressed ahead to FVTL).
I was expecting it to be hard to find the field, but in fact it was fairly easy, being on the top of one of the few hills in the area. I used most of the 4000' strip! Not many facilities here. Refuelling could take a while...
