    Go Team Go!

Don't worry about the rust. It will come off on the first hard landing.

I am on the road all day today. I will hit a few legs tomorrow.

About 20 minutes out. Visibility at crash site is reported to be okay which is good as it is Zero/Zero up at altitude.

I noticed that the latest Duenna release (161 - Oct 2017), supports V4. That is a good thing. "- Updated to include Prepar3D v4"

I have a question, if I may: How do y'all select the route/next airport for flying to? The best I could do from CYUT is a 515 mi leg. Is THAT acceptable? Landable airports in this part of the world seem a bit scarce. Let's face it, a fighter from WWII isn't really very good at making real good landings at a 3000' long gravel runway with no lights in lousy visibility. I want to do a leg, but I'm a lot more betterer at having the flight prepped and ready to go, IE being told where to go Apparently I'm not so hot at the planning portion of this whole affair.

I'll keep trying to find someplace to stick a plane...

Well, when I set up the practice round, I had envisioned flying West to East. Didn't think about going the other way.

No worries, just do the best you can with the distances. Happier seeing green Duennas and not as concerned about routing at this point.

Not sure how the Aleutian chain into Asia will play out with 500nm as a constraint...

I arrived at CYCB. I arrived a little too hard, though. First crash I ever had.
0 Viz approach, heck, 0 viz on the ground. Definately below minimums. I couldn't even see 1/2 of the 5000' runway when I touched. Bad scene all the way around.

    FlightLog_14-19-16.TXT

I sincerely apologize to all. I just couldn't save a bad approach. Not even a go around would have helped.

Again, I apologize. The baton is back at CYUT. Someone will have to try this one. If not, I'll see if I can do it tonight.
    Pat☺

    EDIT:
PS: I will try a East to west plan, and see if I can do a little better. It goes with the trend of the winds aloft anyway. A little shorter over-all too. Maybe better weather
    Thanks for the info!

I have downloaded the new Duenna but have a small problem. I have all the greens but when I go to the settings I check the online tracking box then try to test the connection but get the following messages. What am I doing wrong?

    Pic 2: Test Connection

Hi Pat! I'm Pat as well. Copy-cat

Well, If I was you, which I'm not, first off, in your second picture, your user-name is missing. Make sure you use the correct user-name and Password to log in first, before anything else.
After that, if you still get the same message, you might try selecting a different Event choice. Pick an event from the listing they provide. I think, rarely, if you loose the "1" at the end, it may work, but I may be wrong. Check the list, like I say.

    Hope this helps a little...

    Okay.

I have the baton at CYUT.
    Sea Hornet F.21, ASN.
My thought is to take a relatively short flight to CYBK Baker Lake with the idea of then going to CYZF Yellowknife which then opens up access to less primitive airstrips on the route West given the 500 mile range suggestion.

Current conditions at Baker Lake are horrible, so probably be back at CYUT looking for a new plane shortly. Still this is great needed practice for me and since I am wide awake in the middle of the night for some reason, might as well log some time.
